RAID 0 Lifetime

RAID 0 is not a redundant array. So if one of the RAID 0 member disks fails, all the data is lost. The greater a number of disks in RAID 0, the less the array reliability and the less time to a data loss.

This calculator allows to estimate a probability of RAID 0 failure during up to 5 years of operation. Information on disks reliability used in calculation is taken from Google article.
